Anyone here have Psoriatic Arthritis?

Question

I was recently diagnosed and then found out I’m pregnant. I have terrible, terrible joint pain in my toes and fingers, sore muscles all over, terrible pain in both feet that makes it difficult to walk. 
My question is, has anyone had this while pregnant? I’m really worried how I will cope when the baby is born. I have a 3 year old son, but it’s not terrible with him because he is pretty self sufficient at this age... but constantly holding a baby and walking around - I’m nervous! Any advice on treatment?

Has that.  It’s very rare form
Of arthritis.  It took a long time before she was diagnosed w that.  If you’d like I can ask what treatment she’s recieving.  I think it took awhile but she finally found something that really helps

No advice but my mom has that kind of arthritis.  My mom said it’s a pretty rare type.  She get infusions I think of something to treat it and takes high dose alieve and I think takes methotrexate for it.  She’s older though.  Like close to 70 now.  I don’t think she had very bad arthritis when I was growing up.  The infusions of whatever that is help her a lot.  I do have arthritis too but very minor so far.  I have osteoarthritis.  It’s from over doing like excersizing.  My mom also gets steroid shots when it gets bad.  Maybe they can do more to help

I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis right after I had my son 15 years ago. Had psoriasis when I was 11 or 12 years old. 
GET ON BIOLOGICS! They will change your life.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! What I suggest most is massage therapy to help with pain and range of movement and if you absolutely have to take something for pain, the baby will be ok if it something prescribed at a low dose and taken as directed by a doctor. When the baby is born the baby should be able to ween off of medication within a week, easily. All of these things helped me with my chronic muscle and joint pain and my son is a healthy, attractive, intelligent baby. I know it is hard but you can do it. If you have support from your partner, friends and family then that’s also helpful. Take Care.

I have just psoriasis on the skin, so I can only attest to that. I’m on otezla for it and I’m 95% clear now. Maybe talk to your doctor about it. I know with just about all the systemic treatments, they advise against pregnancy, though.
