Okay I went into the hospital at 1230 am had the baby vaginally at 530 am. We stayed only 1 night. I have over 10k in charges to my insurance and they ended up billing newborn as separate charges as well. So they charged both me and baby separately for room and board and it was thousands each. No complications with me or baby and I breastfed. Is this normal??! I'm so angry. How do you charge a 6 pound newborn 2500$ in misc services and room and board. And his mom 10 k in misc services and room and board. We stayed in the same room...😒 ugh
