My husband and his brother have the same birthday... But 2 years apart. My MIL said it wasn't planned at all. Her water broke with my husband (the younger one) and she had to be induced so he ended up being like a week early.

I would alternate the celebration each year with one getting their celebration on their actual birthday and the other one getting a celebration a day or two before or after. I wouldn’t make them share their special day of celebration. I would alternate a big party and an at home party each year as well. But overall, I would not like them having the same bday.

My brother and I are 3years and three days apart. It never bothered us having to share birthdays, heck our birthdays were last week we turned 20 and 23 and we had a party together.

I honestly wouldn't want my kids to share a birthday! I even want my kids to have their own birth month lol.. But some stuff you just can't plan out lol luckily its worked so far for me but barely!! (February 7th & March 1st) 😂

My son was born oct 23rd, due date oct 24th. (He’s almost 5) and now I’m due with my 3rd ( a little girl this time ) and she’s also due oct 24th. Honestly, I don’t want them to share a birthday. Takes away from their special day. I hope she comes early.

My daughter and my twins very nearly had the same birthday. Daughter is older by two years. The twins had to be delivered by c-section as they were both breech. The suggested date for this was originally my daughter's birthday and I refused because of that. I wanted them to have their own day. Twins had no choice but to share the day.

I have a friend who’s daughters where born on the same day. Honestly it was really easy when they where little. One party and done and they both felt special and it was fine. Once the older one hit the preteen stage then they started to do a noon party for the little one, have all her friends leave and a late afternoon party for the older ones friends. Now the older one is 15 and she prefers just presents or going out with friends and the little one will get a small party. It’s never been an issue. One year they planned a joint birthday trip to Hawaii.
