I just broke up with my boyfriend

So my boyfriend and I were in serious relationship we have been dating for about 6 months. I’ve known him for about 4 years. And I broke up with him because when he comes to my house he ignores my daughter and acts as if she doesn’t exist. He claims that when they first met she ignored him and that she needs manners!! She 6. Our relationship was great. But there’s no convincing him that he’s wrong. He feels like I’m pressuring him to be her dad. When all I’m asking is to acknowledge her. Maybe I’m wrong 🤷🏽‍♀️. How can you say you love someone but want nothing to do with their kid? Mind you her dad isn’t in the picture so I think that’s what hurts the most.
