Anyone's cars loaded up and ready? :)

My nursery is done. I want so badly to deep clean my house and set up where all the "gear" will go.

But mostly I want to detail my car and load up for baby boy. But I know I'll look like a crazy person driving around with a car seat for the next 7 weeks.

Eh, I might do it anyway. :)

Is the mommy mobile ready? Is all your gear in its designated place? I'm so ready!

Doing car seats this weekend.  And as soon as I get the stroller (hopefully at my shower this weekend) I will be practicing walking with it with the dog - empty. Lol

I'm going to put my car seat base in my car in the next few days before I get any bigger. Nursery is all set up and the clothes we have are all washed and ready to be put away today. :) my shower is in two weeks tho and I'll have more things to "nest" lol

Useful links on heat and accident damage to car seats. Just to clarify, it does take a while for heat to structurally damage a car seat, but it's one of the reasons that there are expiration dates.

Umm so far I've washed most of her blankets and clothes. Waiting on my Target Card to arrive this week and I'll get her pack n play. Then everything else comes at my shower on the 29th.

I would wait till closer to the due date to put in the car seat. Heat can damage them and if heaven forbid you get in a fender bender you'll have to buy a new one. I wouldn't risk having to buy another-they aren't cheap!

You are nesting hard core. Lol but i think you can wait till you are going to be admitted to have your car seat in. Child birth can go in soo many directions soo many ways so enjoy your nesting process but dont put the cart before the horse hun lol

I don't suggest having the car seat in the car! God forbid that you got into an accident, but if t ever happened you would need a new car seat too!
