Birth control to HELP have a baby???

Birth control to help have a baby.....

My husband and I really would love to give our daughter a sibling and so we’ve been trying- for a while.

I stopped nursing my daughter in April and have had irregular cycles since. 23 days, 42 days, and currently on cycle day 37. My Dr recommended a couple months on Birth control to regulate my hormones and then come off and try for a baby again.

My question is: has anyone here used birth control to help get pregnant? If so, how long did you stay on and how long after stopping did you become pregnant?
