heyyy, my SO is trans fTm. he's wore binders since he was 16, he's now 21. pretty much he wares the binder for over 10hrs a day everyday bcos he works long ass shifts & for a while hes been complaining of "tightness" around his chest area, so can binders fuck with youre breathing or anything? has anyone else had problems from wearing binders for a long periods at a time. Edit: he NEVER sleeps with the binder on, he has to wear it for his full work shifts (12hrs) as he works in retail but he isnt "out" to people him being trans is kept on the dl, so he cant just walk about without it on EVER. weve bought every type of binder online and ebay, vest, tanks, bras them all they all give him pains in his chest area, and he wont see a doctor as theyll want him to take his top off . and were in the uk so long waiting list for surgery😑😑
