Which carseat do you like why?

I've been doing a crazy amount of research and I'm looking for a carseat with the best protection possible. The Cybex seems to have all that, but I do have a few small issues like the toddler size chest clip and non washable fabric. Same with the Nuna, as far as installation fit, but that's about it.

I've alread considered the Chicco Keyfit 30, Combi Shuttle, Graco Click Connect, Britax Be safe, Peg Perego. You name it. But these two are my top choice currently.

So I'm wondering which on you guys prefer and if you do have another, feel free to add your comments/opinion as well on yours as well!

I want to give a little info for ladies that are hard on times most states have a car seat program it's not based on income at all but safety if you take a hour class on car seat safety you can get a free car seat either booster regular or infant one per household of course but the class is real informative usually is you look on the department of transportation website you can find a link

I love my Chicco KeyFit Travel System! It's  #1 safety! Has a extra saftey strap locking system this also makes straps adjustable for infant size can be used up to a toddler. The Car Seat Key Fit fits perfectly with the stroller clicks right in to place.  No wiggling worry! This car seat and stroller is strong and sturdy! The stroller is also very easy to use folds down easy and is light weight! I highly recommend!

I am going with the Nuna pipa. I was debating between the two as well. I got to see them both in person. The sunshade on the cybex 2 might as well not even be there bc it is so small. I love the sunshade and dream drape feature on the Nuna. I played with both and I had a hard time getting the cybex to lock into the base. Now granted I was standing above the seat and was trying to lock it into the base which was sitting on the floor, but I had zero issues with the Nuna and couldn't even figure out which way the Cybex went. If you're looking at just the Cybex 2 and Nuna Pipa I would go with Nuna.

Have you looked into Maxi Cosi? It's another popular European brand. We love it because it is quite comfortable. We had a baby trend and my daughter hated it so we let her pick (basically we sat her in different car seats and saw her reaction). The only one she was happy in was the Maxi Cosi. We joke that she has a more comfortable seat than we do now. Now we only use Maxi cosi. We looked at the new Cybex Cloud Q but decided to stick with the Maxi Cosi in the end.

We were wrestling between the aton q and pipa but ultimately decided on the aton q. It takes up less space in cars compared to the pipa, even though it is slightly heavier. But you CAN remove the fabric and wash it on the aton q. They recommend spot cleaning only but in the event of a "code brown", you can machine wash the cover. There's a YouTube video on how to do it. Hope this helps!

If you have the budget for a cybex Aton, that's what I would get. From the research I did, it seems to be the safest and top rated. I went with the Chicco keyfit but had narrowed it to the Chicco and britax, which both rate well and are more affordable. It really came down to the one I found the best deal on.

Have you looked at the GB Evoq travel system? GB (Good Baby) actually owns Cybex. It's at Babies R Us (in store normally on an end cap display). It has some really nice features too (both the stroller and car seat).

We looked at the Cybex and Maxi Cosi bc they are compatible with the Uppa Baby stroller I picked out. As good as the reviews are for the Cybex, I wasn't impressed with it in person. Maxi Cosi all the way!!! It's also very highly rated to European standards
