Blighted ovum

I just had a 3rd miscarriage 5/9/18 and we found out we are pregnant again. I had my 6 week ultrasound and it showed a gestational sac but no fetal pole and no yolk sac meaning a blighted ovum or empty gestational sac. They have me going in for a repeat ultrasound 9/7 and calendar wise I will be 8 weeks pregnant. The ultrasound report only says suggestive pregnancy loss and can’t diagnose until repeat ultrasound. Has anyone had this? This will be my fourth pregnancy loss. I have no symptoms of miscarriage yet. I have very little hope that it was just something hiding on the ultrasound. I’m just curious if anyone was misdiagnosed with a blighted ovum?

Update:

It wasn’t a blighted ovum! They found an embryo and a strong heartbeat! I’m officially 8 weeks 2 days pregnant!
