So I'm trying to find a vaccine friendly pediatrician for my 2yo and baby that will be here in November. I found one but they don't accept my insurance. The last hospital I delivered at wouldn't allow me to leave unless I had an appointment scheduled with a pedi for my newborn. I'll be delivering at a different hospital and Im sure they will be the same way. With my 2yo I was getting her vaccinated up until 4 months and stopped going for awhile. When I did take her for a check up and told her doctor we decided to stop vaccinating, she said she could no longer see my daughter. So my question is what do you ladies do? Do you just take your children to the ER or something when they get sick? Should I schedule an appointment for my newborn for the few days after check up, go and then stop taking her because they will want to start vaccinating? Ugh this is frustrating.
