How long will you wait after giving birth until TTC the next?

If we decide to have another baby (big “if”), we will probably try again in a couple years. But, I hate being pregnant so much, I’m not sure I want to do it again.

This is baby #3 and our first boy. We’re done after this, but if I was younger we may have had more children. We always agreed on three though. My girls are 3 years 7 months apart and I think it’s a perfect age gap. My older sister and I are 3 year 3 months apart and we’re really close. My youngest daughter and son will be 2 years and 9 months apart. Hoping this gap is good as well. Youngest is potty trained now so I won’t have two in diapers. WOO HOO!

I voted we’re done after this but the hubby and I did talk and in about 5-6 years we will revisit if we want another (it would be our 4th) we have a 5 year old 1 1/2 year old and this baby on the way. Sooo a break is much needed after this babe arrives.

I voted done, but I think it’s more of a wait and see how we feel. I’ve always said I’d like one or two kids, so I’m not completely ruling out trying for a second, but pregnancies have been complicated for me (especially my first pregnancy which ended in stillbirth at 20 weeks), so right now I feel ok with just having our rainbow baby and being content with that.
