SOMEONE OFFER ADVICE PLEASE!!!

i got my tragus pierced about a week ago and it was healing well no symptoms of infection or other anomalies until about three days after i got it pierced. it started out looking like a burn and progressively got worse. it doesn’t hurt, there’s just a lot of dead skin building around the area. has anyone else experienced this or know what to do? the jewelry is surgical steel and my body isn’t rejecting it. i know these look gross but my piercer hasn’t really offered any advice other than to keep cleaning it so i don’t know what else to do :/
