While it can be fun to wait and keep up with the element of surprise and anticipation, it has always seemed to be more practical to find out when you can. It is easier to prepare for the baby (names, setting up a nursery, clothing, etc.)

When we do get pregnant the baby's godmother is going to tell us at our babyshower 😁 it's different more of a way to get her involved since we are bestfriends ☺️

I'm still up in the air on this one. My son desperately wants a brother (he has 3 sisters at his dad's). So a part of me would want to find out for his sake. And the other part of me thinks try to wait, if my patience will last that long. The gender neutral stuff has gotten so much better since my son was born almost 12 years ago.
