Travel with cerclage?

Have any of u went out for a long road trip after getting cerclage?
I want to travel to mexico in December i will be gettinf stitched around october but i will be traveling by car! And its about 24 hour drive. Last time i had my son i got a emergency cerclage place at 20 weeks and was placed on bed rest!

We are ttc and will be getting a tvc at 13 weeks next baby... my husband wants to visit his country in december for a month.. if we get pregnant i wouldn't want to go on an 18 hr trip...

2 weeks after cerclage I travel out of the country last year when I was 18 weeks pregnant with my twins it was a 3 hour flight, without any issues. This year I also had a cerclage placed with my son but I never went really far.

I went on a road trip to Yellowstone (12 hr drive) about a week after my cerclage was placed.  I asked my dr ahead of time and she said just be sure to get out and walk around every couple hours to avoid blood clots. I had to pee that often anyway so it wasn’t a big deal. 
I had no issues on the trip at all.
