Do you recommend the arm implant ?

I've had the nexplanon arm implant. It was hellish. Mood swings, extreme weight gain, mega temperamental all of the time, lost all libido. Worst of all I was on my period for literally months at a time. Became such an issue I had to have it removed early because it was messing me up that bad. My twin sister was on it too. However her periods settled down within the normal time frame of 6 months. She's ha dprevuous issues with heavy periods and they were helped massively because of the implant. She gets some odd periods but nothing major that makes her want to have it removed. A friend had the implant and had one period just after it was put in and then didn't have one for the next 3 years. 
It's different for everyone completely so you best bet is to try it out for a good 6 months and see how you go on it. Explore all of your options.

I have it and everything is perfectly fine! I know some people have issues with bleeding but if you will your doctor then they can prescribe you to take pills at the same time and that is supposed to help. I really like my implant and I say they are a great idea.

I had it years ago. I loved it! I would totally get it again if I had health insurance

I have no side effects with mine and I like it. I've had it for almost two years now. Everyone reacts differently though.
