I'm currently 39+1 weeks. I have to go to the hospital Thursday morning(7/30) for a non stress test. Then the doctor said he's going to put something on my cervix to try to start contractions. He won't be putting me on pitocin like I thought and said of this doesn't work he'll bring me back in the hospital on 8/3 to try again at 40 weeks. Has anyone done this and gone into labor? Or got sent home? Just curious how well this works and really anxious to have this baby!
