Its gone!

Had my merina in for one year the whole time I had it in I was in constant nagging pain. Pain during sex pain when peeing pain with a BM. Just nagging pain, and headaches. I have a compromised liver and that was hurting too. I went and saw my GP and explained my symptoms. She ordered ultrasounds. Everything looked good. I went to my gyno/ ob and addressed my concerns about libido pain and bloating. She with out any prompting said I think the iud should come out. She had recommended it she herself has used it for years. But I didn't do well with it. It felt like I always could feel it. Now three days later I feel much better already and got my first real period I think. The iud caused all my periods to get trapped in and randomly come out as a black\brown discharge especially after sex or exercise. And during my ultrasounds the tech was very gentle but it hurt and I leaked that nasty stuff for days.

I am so glad it's out. I know some people do well with it and I had hoped I would do well too. But my liver is in worse shape them before with my scans showing larger anomalies then before and was in constant pain and occasionally severe pain.

I hope much post can help someone like me in my situation. If you have to be careful with your liver NO birth control is safe for you. Despite what your gyno says.
