Missed Pill= Early Period?

So I have never missed a birth control pill in my life but Im halfway through my third week of the pack and am supposed to get my period on the fourth week. I missed a pill this month by 24hrs (I was moving and my phone died so I didnt get the reminder) and so I took the missed pill and tge pill for that night in the same hour....and now Im bleeding 4 days earlier than I am supposed to. Is this a side effect of missing a pill?
