I have just discovered this bump with peeling skin on my pubic area... it doesn't itch or anything, but I don't know what it is?

Side note, I am currently in Mexico on vacation and had to use a different brand of tampons than I normally use... Well I had some sort of reaction to them and have been swollen and itchy for the past 3 days in my vaginal area... Could these 2 issues be related?
