Vulvodynia?!

I think I have vulvodynia. My vulva is sore on and off, dry sometimes, too. Rarely, I get this tiny shooting pain shallowly inside of me. I know it sounds bad but it's not that bad and it happens every 3 months or so. But it is almost ALMOST bad enough to interrupt my day. It might not actually be vulvodynia but I know something is wrong. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks. 🙂 If not, I'll go see the OBGYN just to safe.
