for free textbooks is really a hit or miss. my brother goes to college out in new mexico as a Nuclear Engineer with Navy and he found all of his books online through google and found random sites that had it. so it’s really a matter of dedicating screen time. while i’m going to community college out by where i live to save some money before transferring and i couldn’t find any of my gen ed books for free. but i got a steal on my books on knetbooks.com ecampus.com is good too, usually those two link together to see if it’ll give you a better deal. amazon would have totally fucked me over in pricing i would’ve paid 4x what i paid thro knetbooks and it was rental options as well. just make sure you have the ISBN # and it’ll make things so much easier and that your bookstore has it right. my math class fucked us over and made us pay more because it was the wrong edition

My local library is paired with my local community college and allows you to rent out books for the term if you take your school id and schedule I would check there
