Negative test!

We have been ttc since the beginning of this year with no luck. Its now the end of August and i have not had a period since june,a couple of days ago i had some light spotting only when i wiped two days in a row around the same time,and nothing after. I have taken two tests and both come out negative, idk what to do any suggestions???
