so last week I got an interview to a job and I had the interview and we got on well as we talked about the same school we went to etc. he then said that he would have a member of the team call me next Saturday (this saturday) for one of three options: reject, accept, or further interviewing. Come yesterday I received an email from the resourcing team saying my application won't be taken any further, I assumed that because it didn't have my name and I had gone past the application process that this was by accident, I tried calling up but got no answer. I replied saying it was a mistake and they asked to clarify why I thought it was a mistake and explained about how I was waiting for a phone call. All whilst this was happening I got a job offer at a grocery store but they had given me different times for which I originally applied for, not only that but I also want the job I'm waiting for (on saturday) more than the grocery and was wondering if anyone had any insight as to whether I may actually get the job I want or if I should go for the grocery (they want me to start tomorrow)? this was more to get it off my mind but I was also curious of people's opinions, thank you if you got this far 😄💕
