How would you feel if your boyfriends friends told you they wouldn’t tell you if your boyfriend was cheating on you?

My boyfriends friend was smoking outside and asked for some company since he doesn’t like to smoke alone. We talked about random stuff but I brought up a hypothetical of what he would do if he found out my man was cheating on me, and if he would tell me.

He said he’d mind his business but tell him what he was doing what wrong. But in the end, he’d let me believe everything was alright.

I’ve asked this question to all three of his closest friends and they all said the same thing. They’d mind their business because it’s not their relationship. Two of them even said they wouldn’t tell if I was the one cheating.

It was all in good fun (the questions) I like asking little “what’s if’s” but should I be worried? I told my boyfriend that they said this and he claims they would tell me and that they’re just saying that cause they think that’s what he wants.

Has anyone shared a similar experience? And what would you do?

EDIT: Also, I just wanna let people know that I’m not all too worried about it! I was a bit hurt at first but I realized that not everyone wants to get involved in that drama. I just wanna know what y’all think or would think if put in that situation. Thanks ladies 💜
