I’m very attuned to spotting because I’ve had prior gynecological surgery for which spotting is something to take note of, so if I’m spotting I always know it :) I’ve been pregnant 3 times and have never had IB.

Hi there! I’m becoming a certified doula, and recently studied this! (Please note this is not to take the place of any medical advice, this is just what I found in my personal study). All information I came across agreed that less than 20% of women actually experience IB, and in that 20% most don’t even notice they’ve had it! 
IB is very commonly mistaken for mid cycle spotting or the start of a period. Don’t let all the women on here fool you, it’s not near as common as it’s said to be.
