Need answers?

Hi so I was suppose to get my period on Sunday & now it’s Thursday I took a pregnancy test on Monday and it was negative. I believe this is happening because I didn’t take the non hormonal pills at the end of the birth control pill packet like I always do. And now my system is just Confused possibly? I am spotting very little like barley what do you think? Is that considered my period?
