I’m traumatized from pineapple because my MIL bought like ten pineapples and cut them up for me to eat. I’m never eating pineapple ever again 😂

Look up the Evidence Based Birth YouTube channel. Theirs a video where a women reviews the best research on pineapple and inducing labour. Basically it found NO evidence that pineapple can induce labour from being ingested. The bromelain in pineapple can induce labour but researchers have only got this to happen by injecting it into uterine tissue. researchers haven’t been able to link eating pineapple with  inducing labour at all. 
That being said....I’m 39 weeks 4 days, getting desperate and am trying it anyways! It can’t harm.
