Umbilical cord blood banking, private or public
So the odds of my baby needing the stem cells found in cord blood is less that 1 in 400, I get that it could help my husband and I too, but we are low low risk for cancer. Donating to public Banks are free to donate to and can save a kid with cancer, but then if our kids needs it, not enough people donate so it might not be available. We can afford private blood banking if we start saving now... What are you guys doing?, feel free to comment.
