Best piece of advice you received about parenting?

Just curious! I love hearing advice from people who are already parents, as I find it gives me more confidence. Let’s hear it!

That it’s okay to be a “good enough” mom. As long as the kids are clean and fed, you’re doing your job. Aka you don’t have to have an Instagram perfect life, you can put the kids in their pjs and no shoes and go through the drive through if you need to feed them that way! 😂

My stepmom said “No one really knows what the hell they’re doing, but some people are really good at pretending they are. We are all just winging it.”

Get a robot vacuum cleaner, not a direct parenting advice but it helped me sooooo much to not have to think of vacuuming.

There’s no such thing as a perfect mom. Do your best, and trust your instincts. The good news is baby is learning along with you, so they won’t know any better even if you feel like you failed!

I’m a first time mom only have been for 11 days and cry it out if you have to. I just did and it felt really good to vent to my fiancé and cry it out to him and it’s really rare to see me cry
