Period late after chemical?

Is it normal or common to be late after a chemical pregnancy? I got off depo in October it was “out of my system” come January. I started getting very normal cycles come April (like clock work). Then in July I had a chemical pregnancy. I now should’ve started my period on Tuesday and still nothing. Test is negative :/

I literally JUST had a chemical. Sunday I was 11DPO found out I’m pregnant! Monday, then Tuesday tests were getting lighter. I felt like something just seemed off or not right. Unfortunately sure enough I tested this morning and the test had a vvvfl but was residual hcg. I got af this afternoon, so it’s actually only 1 day late (ovulated on 8/15 so af due yesterday) and was surprised to get af when I did. I’ve read some people don’t get af right away and others do I’m not sure why. But keep in mind, no matter what, we are more fertile after miscarriages! People tend to ovulate sooner than they think, even people who haven’t gotten a period after a chemical. I’ve done a lot of reading in forums and such. Good luck to you!

Im in the same boat. Last period was july17th. Had a chemical pregnancy this month.. currently on cycle day 47 and no period still. Dr says i may not get one at all this month and its only a concern if they dont continue next month
