Clomid with regular ovulation?

Question

Has anyone been prescribed clomid even though you ovulate regularly each month? After seeing an RE and having all the initial tests done, which all turned out fine, he started me on clomid, even though I ovulate around the 15 each months, this is conformed by OPKs.. he said clomid will up my chance is double ovulating to increase me chances of pregnancy? We’ve been trying a little over a year, with an early miscarriage in January.

I ovulate in my own, got pregnant first cycle last November. Now I have a 25 day old baby.

I ovulate regularly and am on my 3rd round of Clomid. 50mg days 3-7. I’ve heard if you take it days 3-7 it helps produce more eggs, and days 5-9 helps build quality eggs for those who don’t produce them. We’ve trying since last July. It did make me ovulate late, around cd17. Fingers crossed 3rd times a charm and good luck to you!

I ovulate regularly too and just tried it on cycle day 5-9 and am on cycle day 13 waiting for my positive opk it’s bizarre usually I ovulate by now so it must push it back

I am on my second month of clomid. I ovulate on my own. Positive OPKs and progesterone levels indicate I do.  I was on 50mg last month (days 3-7) and just started my TWW from 100mg (days 5-9). We’ll see what this month brings🤞🏼
