Happy Friday!

I will be spending this Labor Day weekend in a lake front cabin with 3 girlfriends of mine. It was originally a couples trip but one couple couldn’t make it and 2 of us have recently found ourselves single. Anyway! That’s neither here nor there. We will be on the lake and off the grid. We’ve already settled on alcohol; that’s a definite but some of our original ideas don’t seem like as much fun since it’s just us girls now. I need some ideas. Today is my last chance to do any shopping. Just kicking back and chilling on the water will be fantastic but we are all pretty restless women. Three days of nothing but each other and the lake. None of us are particularly outdoors women; I love taking in the scenery but that’s about it. One of my friends has newly become a Pinterest and crafting junkie -her form of therapy- so she’s bringing phone cases and rhinestones😳🤣. We are in desperate need of a vacation and this is the best we could do on short notice. We are stupid excited; you’d think we were going to the Caribbean! I know we will enjoy each other’s company. I just want to make sure we are engaged and don’t have time to think about the lives we’re trying to escape for the holiday weekend.
