Bubble baths?

Question

So are they allowed? Or just normal hot baths? You're not supposed to get your body temperature too high but what's too high?

I have taken a bath every single day with my first child 2 years ago and with my current pregnancy. My Drs only recommendation was if the water is hot enough that when you step in, your skin turns red then it’s too hot.  I have used bath products with this pregnancy but I did not do it with my first. The only bath product I used with my first was epsom salt for aches and pains. This time I do bath bombs sometimes.

Too high is when your skin turns red and/ having difficulty in breathing or feeling exhausted in the tub. But it is best you don’t let it go to that extent. My personal preference would be to not have the temperature to exceed 75 - 80. You will have to figure out your own sweet spot though.
Also, if you are using essential oils in your bath: there are certain essential oils that need to be avoided during pregnancy. You can google on those.

I heard no hot baths or hot tubs period.  If it’s like just barely warm enough to be tolerable that might be ok.
