Yeast infection help!

I believe I've had a yeast infection for a few weeks just didn't notice it til this week ,my question is, is it normal for the monistat 3 day treatment to burn and itch a little bit? It's not terrible but it's just uncomfortable. What can I do to help this. It comes and goes so I do get moments of relief. Although I will say when I first started treatment it felt amazinf, which is how I determined it's def a yeast infection.

By the way, I get these frequently so i know it's not bv or anything else. I've just never had the burning or anything unless I used the 1 day treatment since that's more concentrated
