So last week I asked my boyfriend if he wanted to come to my cousins baby shower with me. He said he would come with me (it's co-ed and a chance for him to meet my family). He usually finishes early afternoon and that would be more than enough time for us to make our way. My cousin called me to ask where I was and I told her I was waiting for him. He stayed at work 2 hours extra (I didn't know he was going to do this until I texted him). He's now come home miserable, he also told me to tell my cousin that he was taking a nap before we leave.

My cousin told me it finishes at 6 although the invite said 'till late', so I didn't think we would make it. Turns out it is going on till later on. My boyfriend is just being moody because he is tired from work, I get that but I just want to go and show my face and be with my family. A year ago he made me miss out of most of my friends birthday. He went home napped and was close to getting his hair cut, he turned up hours later and by the time we got to the party most people had left. I was pissed off then and now. I'm pissed off cos I would make the effort and suck up being tired. It's just a couple hours and I'm the one that's been waiting around all this time.
