What’s the deal with condoms?

If condoms are 98 percent effective at preventing pregnancy with perfect use, how is there still a 1-2percemt change of pregnancy? Say the couple wanted to have Sex, man puts on condom without having to flip it around to fix it, it fits well with space at the top, nothing breaks or tears, and it is used the entire time... HOW is there any chance of pregnancy?

I mean... It could rip, it could have holes that we don't see with our own eyes, not everything is fool proof.

Because if they were to claim 100% efficacy and someone got pregnant, either by misuse or freak accident, then the condom companies would get sued for everything they had.

Maybe you can use it perfectly, and some leaks out the top or something. It doesn't necessarily mean there was user error that caused it

Because condoms can break. I wouldn’t have been born if they were 100% effective 🙃
