What’s the deal with condoms?

If condoms are 98 percent effective at preventing pregnancy with perfect use, how is there still a 1-2 percent chance of pregnancy? Say the couple wanted to have Sex, man puts on condom without having to flip it around to fix it, it fits well with space at the top, nothing breaks or tears including the water test after, and the man even pulls out before he finishes,  and it is used the entire time... HOW is there any chance of pregnancy?

It means of 100 people 1 or 2 will get pregnant using that method. That's how stats work 😶

People probably tried to sue a company for saying it was false advertisement saying its 100% effective but they ended up pregnant 😂. Also, nothing is ever 100%

Because even when put on correctly there is still a chance they can leak and tear. Not everything is 100%. My OB would even tell me it’s less than 90% effective even when put on correctly.

Because nothing is perfect. Out of a batch of 100 condoms made there may be 2 that aren't completely perfect.
