when will you find out the sex of the baby ?

I'm 12 weeks pregnant with my second baby. when I was pregnant with my baby girl I found out around 20 weeks into pregnancy. Last week I went to the doctor and she said its a boy because boys you can detect  earlier due to their little private area forming already. Should I be 100% sure it's a boy or should o wait for another visit ?

I would wait for confirmation during your 20 week detailed ultrasound, just to be sure. I've heard of techs making mistakes...they do the big ultrasound anywhere from 16-20 weeks but I'm going to request mine me closer to 20 weeks so the baby is grown and the boy/girl parts are much more prominent.

At 13 weeks they told me he was a boy and he is a boy lol

Don't count on it! 12 weeks the parts can still be swollen and look like a little pickle for both a girl or boy.

Did you see an ultrasound? With my son it was 100% but that was because we could clearly see his penis AND the umbilical cord so there was no mistaking anything. I have to wait till I'm 20 wks this pregnancy and I'm so anxious.. 6 more weeks!
