How do I make friends?

I’m a really quiet person from far away and kind of really suck at communication and dont really know what to talk about or how to make up convos 🤷🏻‍♀️ although I’m the opposite with my best friend but we live in different counties so I can’t really just stay alone in high school and I do like having friends I just don’t know where to start 😬
