When to start baby registry?

At what point in your pregnancy is it appropriate to start the baby registry? I’m so anxious as I just got in the 2nd trimester!

You can start it whenever, but I found it was easier after we found out the sex...almost everything was gender-specific, super annoying. Even pacifiers and bottles came in colors and stuff. You can always add the basics, soap, baby bath, diapers and stuff for now and add along the way

honestly I made a registry before I was pregnant 🤷‍♀️😅 I know. I just saw a lot of things I liked and wanted to have an outlet to save it on so I made a target registry haha.. I'm 10 weeks now and waiting until we find out the gender to make it public

I started my registry at 12 weeks but kept it private until about 25 weeks

I've been working on mine since about 8 weeks.  You don't have to share it until you're ready.  The hardest part I've found is that almost EVERYTHING is gendered. 🙄 Unisex stuff is all gray and muted in my opinion, so I'll wait until I know the sex before registering for most clothes and such.  But for big staples like cribs, carseats, high chairs, bottles, etc. I felt like getting a jump and started early.  It's been nice to casually add to my list as I think of things or get product recommendations from friends.

Mine is almost done and I'm 10+4 😂 however that's the only way I'm keeping myself at Bay from buying stuff 😂 I'm not going to buy things until closer to December or later I think. 😅 My dd I went crazy with and had the entire nursery set up at 15 weeks. I'm much more chill this time around and we will be adding on to our house in the spring and then setting up the nursery so it will be stressful!!

I started mine around 11-12 weeks but it’s private so no one can search for it and find it yet. As I get closer to sending out shower invites I’ll make it public

I think you’re at a good time to start it if you want. You can just do little by little. I didnt register for gender specific items because I knew I wanted to be able to use everything for future babies. Just keep an eye on it regularly because I noticed a lot of items get discontinued or out of stock frequently.

We started ours today since we found out the gender on Saturday from NIPT. We are 11w4d

I’m 13 weeks and started mine around 8 weeks.  We aren’t finding out the gender which hasn’t been an issue because I wouldn’t go with a “boy” or “girl” theme even if we did. Our nursery is going to be white with colored accents. 
If you are cool with gently used items, check out Mercari. I’ve gotten the car seat and stroller from here as well as a Doppler and maternity clothes. 
I don’t think it’s too early to do it really at any point. It’s better to plan ahead than not have enough time towards the end. 🙌
