When can I take my newborn out of the house?

Not out in public with a bunch of people. Just to a family friend's house.

Whenever YOU are comfortable with it.  I wait 1 month based on my husbands cultural tradition (1 month lay in).  But thats me.  My friend took her daughter to target to buy food (fridge died while she was in the hospital 🤦🏻‍♀️) the day they were released from the hospital (3 days old).  She was in her infant carrier the whole time 🤷‍♀️

You can take them wherever, whenever you want. Our daughter has been out in public since she was 2 days old.
