Threatened miscarriage???

Question

Had dark bleeding over the weekend, not heavy but more than spotting along with cramping. Drs this morning said it's likely to be a threatened miscarriage due to how long it's been going on and that's it's heavier than spotting 
I can't have a scan until 6 weeks (in 5 weeks 3 days at the mo) 
Just wondering people's experiences with this kind of thing? I'm sat at work running backwards and forwards to have a cry in the toilets 😅

I had spotting start up at 5 weeks. Started out super faint and light brown. Quickly turned to pink and then bright red and went to bleeding. Went to get checked out and was told the same thing (threatened miscarriage) but literally any pregnancy where you experience spotting/bleeding of any kind gets that label slapped on it. I ended up having 5 ultrasounds done before finding out the the bleed was caused by a subchorionic hemorrhage. It lasted for 5 weeks and finally went away at 10 weeks but not before the bleeding got super heavy, which I was told was from the hemorrhage passing. 22 weeks in now though and we haven’t had anymore issues and our little boy is doing perfectly fine.

Hey luv I had a lot of bleeding and cramps at 5 weeks. I went to the docs and they said it sounds like an early miscarriage. Called the Early pregnancy Unit and because I was getting sharp pains they had me come in at 5w4d. Turns out I’ve got a blood clot in the womb or subchronic hemorrhage  and that’s what’s causing the trouble. I’ve to go back next Tuesday for another scan to see is the pregnancy is progressing and how the clot is getting on. 
It’s not a nice thing but at least it’s not a miscarriage. Fingers crossed for you!

They should be monitoring your hcg levels.
Unfortunately sounds like a miscarriage.
