Out to eat with LO

Hubby and I went out to eat with our LO. He will be 5 months old in a few days. I generally carry him into restaurants in my arms because he gets fussy in his car seat and I don’t like to just let him sit in it while we are eating anyway. We are always asked if we want a high chair which is fine but I decline because I just feel he isn’t ready to sit in one yet. At least to the point where I would feel comfortable with it. I kindly declined the high chair to the hostess. She asked me two more times if I was sure I didn’t want one. Then she asked what we wanted to drink and if my LO wanted anything. I told her no he was too young. She asked if he wanted anything to eat like yogurt or potatoes and I said no he’s not eating foods yet. She was then like are you sure you don’t want anything for him to eat? I think he should eat something. I again said no. Then she had a child’s menu in her hand and was like guess you won’t be needing this then and just walked away. Like WHAT?? Omg I understand people wanting to make sure you’re comfortable and all but she needed to lay off. I probably would have even understood if it was an older lady but it wasn’t. The hostess was probably about 30 years old. I’m just ranting because this kind of thing drives me nuts!!!
