I’m still mentally and physically recovering from my miscarriage. I’m not mentally/ emotionally ready to be pregnant again yet. I need a few months off.

Has anyone tried spermicide? I’ve had IUDs before and liked them but I don’t want to go through insertion and removal if it’ll only be a couple months. I don’t do well with birth control pills- spotting and mood swings.

I’m considering spermicide because it’s easy to stop/ start, and not hormonal with side effects. I’m only worried it’s going to be extra “gooey” down there. I know it’s not 100% effective but that’s okay- if I get pregnant no big deal.

Any thoughts or ideas? I don’t think my husband would be crazy about condoms.
