Hair color??

I have recently become pregnant, can I still have my hair highlighted??

My doctor said no hair dye or highlighting until the 2nd trimester.

I know permanent color isn't great to breathe or get on your scalp. I feel tingling on my scalp, get hot and a rash on my face every time I have it done. Is semi permanent safer.  Isn't peroxide for lifting safe?  Any hairdressers know?

2nd trimester. But if you are nervous about it don't do it.

You can buy its best you wait until you're in your late second to third trimester. And if you can use vegan dyes it's better (less chemicals).

You need to make sure you aren't breathing in the fumes as much as possible. So doing it at home where you could have a fan or possibly even sit outside, would be ideal.

Many in my family have dyed their hair while pregnant, but always waited til the baby was a bit mor established. To cause less stress if any.
