Induced??

Im due November 12th and don’t know if I can ask my doctor to be induced but I’m 30 weeks ( second baby )and was hoping I could when I’m full term of course! I heard it hurts worse ( not sure if that’s true or not ) but I’d like to have my baby before thanks giving and in enough time to actually heal! Do you think I’m stupid for wanting this? Will they even do it?

Most drs will not induce before 40 weeks without medical necessary. Honestly, it puts you at a higher risk for a csection

I'm going to ask my doctor about it during the next visit. I'm 31 weeks due Nov.12th. I was induced with my third child and it didn't hurt, took all day but it turned out fine. reason this time because I have three other kids I have to plan who will keep them while I'm in the hospital. Can't randomly go into labor😂😂

Also I’m due 11/18 and I want to be induced on 11/24 IF she doesn’t come early. But my water has broken on 39 weeks (2nd) and then 40 weeks (1st)

My dr office has a note saying I can not start talking about it until 36 weeks. And if I’m a FTM I can’t be induced until 41 weeks and if I’m at least a STM I can be induced at 39 weeks. But I must be pre registered at the hospital I want to deliver too.

I see an army dr, I asked about induction to work around my husbands training schedule so we knew he could for sure be there, she said no. But this is my first baby and she wants my body to give the eviction notice if at all possible, she said if nothing else we will only wait a week to induce, no later. So either nov 17th (or sooner if she wants out bad enough) or the 24th is my induction date. Which I really dont want to go through thanksgiving pregnant lol.

Was induced with my first due to high blood pressure at 38 weeks and I’m not going to lie it wasn’t an easy process for me. Really don’t think my body was ready. That being said in a way I’d like to be induced again this time around just because I liked knowing when I was going into the hospital and when my SO and I could tell work we’d be out. But if I am induced this time I’m hoping it’s maybe just a few days before my due date rather than 2 weeks early.

I got induced with my 2nd due to my first baby being over 9lbs and have shoulder dystocia but still our hospital policy won’t let you induce until 39 weeks unless medically indicated. I will be induced this time as well but I have health issues so I’m not sure exactly when. I don’t think it hurts any worse then natural. I got all the way to 8cm before I couldn’t take it on pitocin and even then I delivered less than and hr after I got my epidural
