Can kids really see ghosts?!

Edit to add... before this my daughter would lay on her bed and just start giggling staring up at the wall, then scrunch up laughing really hard like something was tickling her, then get ip and run out of the room laughing. The thing tho is my grandpa was a live at this point...

So I have 2 things that have happened in the last few days!

The first: My grandpa passed away in July after his 76th birthday and we had him cremated. I have some of his ashes here with me in a urn put away in a glass cabinet away from my kids located in my living room(they don't know he's there). The other day my daughter (2) pointed in the corner and says "I see grandpa" I looked at her and she pointed again to the corner were his ashes are!. I asked "you see grandpa" she says "yes i see grandpa".

Second instance was today: I'm sitting on my bed getting my kids ready for their shower and my 2 year old comes running in l, climbs on my bed cowarding next to me and says "mommy I'm scared" I ask her "scared? Why are you scared?" She said "ghost out there" me😱 "ghost? Where's the ghost?" She points to the living room. I said "show me" we walk to the living room and she points to the same spot she said she seen grandpa. I sit down on my chair and she climbs on the couch, stands up and starts following the wall; I watch her for a min. She stops and says ghost" and points above my head...

I wanted to freak out and leave the house! How does a 2 year old know about ghosts?! We have never talked about it or even said the word around her...!!!

Do you believe kids can really see ghosts?!
