What is the recommendation for thawing breastmilk? Please help!

After I thaw frozen breastmilk how soon do I have to use it? Can I thaw it in warm water so it isn’t frozen anymore than put it in a bottle in the fridge and rewarm it alittle when I want to use it within 24 hours?! Want to make sure I’m giving my baby good milk please help!

No you cannot thaw breastmilk in warm water then refrigerate it. 
Thawing it in warm water is heating the milk and the 4 hour timer starts then. 
Recommended thawing is over night in the fridge in a small thing of COLD water. Doing it this way it will take about 4-6 hours to thaw enough to pour into a bottle. Then from liquid state you have 24 hours to use it as long as you don’t warm it. Once your milk has been warmed you have 4 hours to use it or toss it. 
If you need to rapidly thaw milk (like you forgot or baby is having a growth spurt) then do it under cold running water. This method takes a few minutes to become mushy then you can transfer to a bottle and warm to baby’s desired temp.
