When did you start on your nursery?

We were talking about moving but decided to stay where we are and now that we have decided to stay where we are I want to start on the nursery but I’m only 7+3 weeks. My husband gave me the go ahead but is it to early?

If you choose a gender neutral theme then sure. But if you plan on finding out the gender you might want to wait. Maybe just choose furniture or something for now. We started early and bought stuff for a nautical themed nursery. All of it is wasted now. Found out it was a girl and we changed everything!

I waited to know the gender (18weeks) to start buying things but I’m now 32 weeks and we just got our spare bedroom cleared out so now we can officially begin decorating

I have already started on painting the walls and I am not even pregnant haha but I know I'm not the norm.

We found out gender at 11 weeks so we started buying the stuff we didnt already have after this. Suck a relief to slowly buy stuff

I painted the trim at week 25. Wanted to get that done before my belly was too big for bending to reach baseboards. 
We paused for my birthday, a cousin’s wedding and Labor Day weekend. Will finish painting this weekend (28 weeks now). 
Her furniture arrived last week and today. Thankfully her dresser came assembled. #score But hubby wants to redo the shelving in her closet. So that’ll be another weekend. 
Overall, we should be mostly done by week 33. I was waiting on deciding on some artwork and shelving sizing until after her big furniture items are in the room so I can gauge how they will look together better.

I just started mine at 32 weeks... I’m now at 37 and it’s almost done. Pinterest made decisions difficult ;)

We ordered the furniture in May (I was about 4.5 weeks pregnant). We worked on clearing out the guest room little by little for a few weeks and had the furniture delivered in June. We chose not to repaint since the walls were a pale blue that we felt would look good with the furniture. 
Once the furniture was set up I picked things to decorate with. A lot of it was put on my registry and purchased as gifts. These last couple weeks have been about finishing touches. With four weeks lefts the room is ready to go!

With my first we started around 17 weeks. That’s when our gender reveal was. So we started on it right after. With my current pregnancy our gender reveal isn’t until 20wks (2wks to go!) so we won’t start until then. Though I have cleared the room we will be using out.
