Clomid and metformin?

I just got told I have PCOS and have been put on Clomid and Metformin. Does anyone or has anyone used these? What are your experiences with theses? Any suggestions? Help I'm desperate for stories and answers.

I have bee on Metformin for almost a year ( 1500mg ). It deff helped w my periods and I am finally able to lose weight. Only thing, I haven’t been able to get pregnant still. So this is my first cycle on clomid 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽

I was put on both after I found out I had pcos. They both helped to regulate my period and I actually ovulated with clomid!! It worked and I am now pregnant

I was diagnosed with PCOS in May of 2017. My periods were irregular like it would come over 10 days late and I would have terrible cramps. I was given Metformin 500mg to take once daily. After taking it for 3 months my periods became regular, at most it would be 2 days late but that is pretty good and I didn’t have anymore cramps!!! This was August and we had been ttc since July of 2016 so it had been over a year. My  doctor gave me clomid to take from the 3rd day of my period to the 7th. I did 1 round of Clomid which is 3 months and still nothing(Nov, 2017) So my DR gave me another round of Clomid. I finished that in January of 2018 and still I was not pregnant. Since I already did 2 rounds of Clomid my DR said we would wait for my period in February(My last one was January 31, 2018) and if it came I would get my tubes checked to see if everything was okay. I was pretty nervous but then my period didn’t come for February!!! After it was like 10 days late I found out I was pregnant!!! So 8 months of Metformin and 2 rounds of Clomid later I was finally pregnant. But then I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks.😢 After that it took 8 weeks for my period to return(June 16, 2018) and I was put on 1,000mg of Metformin this time and I started Clomid again. So far I have taken Clomid in July when my period came(July 22, 2018). My period is late now😁😁 I have tested several times all bfn! I made an appointment with my DR for a blood test. So fingers crossed!!! 🤞

I think its working I've never had positive ovulation test and I finally got one today!!
